How did it go?

Digital Futures 2012 took place on Monday 10 September 2012, at Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury.  The aim of the event was to look at how digital media can improve the way organisations communicate with residents and deliver services.

200+ people turned up to the event and the atmosphere was buzzing all day.  There was lots of networking and some great discussions going on.

We’ve received some fantastic feedback and the conversations are continuing.  Here’s a few of the comments we’ve received and links to some of the conversations and write ups, following the event.

Thoroughly enjoyed Digital Futures today. A fantastic line-up of speakers. Thank you for organising such a useful conference.
Craig Reeves, Marketing Officer, Theatre Severn

Just a brief note to say well done to you guys ( and the rest of the team) for a really informative, thought provoking and fun event today. Just reading the tweets has provided me with lots of ideas to pick up and run with in the north of the county. Well done!
George Candler, Area Director: North, Shropshire Council

I just wanted to write and thank all those involved in organising the Digital Futures event yesterday. It was excellent. A few of us linked with health and wellbeing services are going to meet up and have an informal chat over coffee about any collective ideas we might have. Too often with events like this there is an enthusiasm generated at the event and we don’t take it anywhere after so we are hoping to make sure that doesn’t happen. Brilliant! It was an event to be very proud of.
Karen Higgins, Support for Patient Involvement, Shropshire County PCT

Thanks for a good event. Loved Carrie Bishop especially.  Anyway well done for a thought provoking event. You packed a lot in, great venue too!
Fiona Narburgh, Head of Strategy and Communications, Wychavon District Council

Just wanted to offer my congratulation on a great event yesterday – I really was quite impressed, and enjoyed it a lot.
